ABOUT TRACI ANDERSON
Hello, I'm Traci
Hi, I'm Traci Anderson. I am running for my local school board. I am a conservative mother of twins and I am very proud of our hardworking students, teachers, and administration. I have been a stay at home mother for the last 16 years but prior to that, I was a Manager of an Informamtion Technology Group at a Biotechnology company. I was head of Technical Support and Service for silicon valley hardware and software development company. When my children were born, I was blessed to be able to stay home with them.
During my time staying at home with my kids, I have spent hundreds of hours volunteering. I was President of a Moms of Multiples parent group, I was a weekly volunteer at our home school co-operative preschool. I have been a board member of our PTO group as the Vice President of Enrichment Activities. I ran the after school programs of the elementary school PTO. Giving dozens of students a safe place to spend after school hours learning art, dance, biology, chemistry, 3D printing, soccer.
I am a proud Republican. I am socially conservative. I think that parents are the best judge of what is best for their children. I have a special needs daughter with an IEP, so I understand a little bit about navigating the school district's system for assisting kids who need extra help.
INTERESTS AND HOBBIES
I enjoy spending time with my family. I love photography and traveling. Cooking is my favorite hobby and I am passionate about the MAHA (Make American Healthy Again) movement. I want to see more healthy choices for our students and teachers.
